Hector R. Perez, MD

Hector Perez, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein, and Associate Professor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Perez’s clinical focus is on primary care. In 2002, Dr Perez received his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University. He then pursued his medical education, attending Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2010. For his postgraduate training, he completed his residency in primary care social internal medicine at Montefiore, followed by a two-year fellowship in primary care research at New York University School of Medicine. Dr Perez’s research focuses on improving health outcomes in patients with opioid use and chronic pain.
