Herbert Mena Hernandez, MD, is an attending physician in Family Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Dr Mena’s clinical focus is on providing exceptional family medical care. After earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2000 at Universidad Evangelica De El Salvador in San Salvador, El Salvador, Dr Mena practiced general medicine in San Salvador for two years before coming to the United States. He was an Anesthesia Assistant at Mercy Medical Center for four years prior to completing his family medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in affiliation with Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr Mena is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
