Milan M. Kinkhabwala, MD

Sarah Bellemare, MD, FRCS, is an attending physician in surgery and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Montefiore Einstein. She leads the pancreas cancer tumor board at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center and is the UNOS Surgical Director of both the Live Donor Liver Transplant and Pediatric Liver Transplant Programs at Montefiore-Einstein. A recognized master surgeon, Dr Bellemare’s clinical focus is on complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer vascular reconstruction. She is also skilled in minimally invasive cancer surgery and is a core member of the multidisciplinary liver and pancreas cancer teams.

Kenneth Shapiro, MD, FACS, is an attending surgeon and Assistant Professor, Surgery at Montefiore Einstein. Dr Shapiro’s clinical focus is on hernia repairs and the gastrointestinal tract, utilizing state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgery techniques to provide optimal care. He is proud to have served the Bronx community for his entire career. In 1994, Dr Shapiro graduated from The Sophie Davis School of Biomedicine, receiving his Bachelor of Science in biomedicine. He later attended New York Medical College, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1996. After several months of clinical research with the Mount Sinai/Cabrini program, Dr Shapiro pursued his surgery residency at Cabrini Medical Center, completing it in 2002.

Paul Yoffe, MD is a vascular surgeon at NYP Hudson Valley, NYP Westchester, and Columbia University campuses. After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Yoffe completed his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. He is affiliated with Columbia University medical center. Dr. Yoffe specializes in treating aortic and carotid artery diseases, as well as peripheral vascular and venous disease.

Azeem Latib, MB BCh, is Medical Director of Structural Heart Interventions at Montefiore. Dr Latib is a world-leading expert in interventional cardiology, with a clinical focus on complex coronary interventions as well as transcatheter aortic, mitral and tricuspid interventions. He has extensive clinical experience in TAVR and MitraClip, as well as expertise in novel and new devices to treat mitral and tricuspid valve disease minimally invasively without open-heart surgery. In 1995, Dr Latib received his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
