Walter Gladwin Park Park
Walter Gladwin Park is centrally located in the Bronx, and has been the heart of the Bronx since its founding. Once the home of Bronx Borough Hall, this large 15-acre park offers a variety of recreational opportunities, with basketball courts, handball courts, a ballfield, and large lush lawns with walking paths. The eastern half of the park is hilly, offering healthy walks and great views of the lower areas. Once named Tremont Park, on November 2, 2020, the park was renamed for Walter Gladwin, the first Black elected official in Bronx history and former president of the Bronx chapter of the NAACP and director of the Bronx Chamber of Commerce.

Vidalia Park Park
Friendly and colorful play equipment welcomes you when you walk into Vidalia Park, a family-friendly park in the Bronx's West Farms neighborhood. This large neighborhood park features two basketball courts, handball courts, and a big lawn with a loop that's perfect for jogging or running. The name Vidalia Park itself is a play on words based on the names of surrounding streets Vyse Avenue and Daly Avenue, and the sweet Georgia onions that share its name.
